Varissuo

We had a school project from the university and so we went to Varissuo (it is a suburb in Turku) to get some information. In this way I get some more information about the culture in Finland and also their way of life. Because they told me that they have a good neighborhood in this suburb, and I was not that impressed and said it is totally normal. But in Finland they are not used to know their neighbors or normally they don’t even know the names. So I was really surprised and I realized again that Finnish people are not that open minded as we are in Switzerland or other cultures. The funniest thing in this research was that in this suburb every household has an own trolley to go shopping or it seamed like this because we saw a lot of people walking around with trolleys.
