Naantali

Today I went with a lot of exchange students to Naantali, I was really looking forward to this trip, because few days before my parents told me that they will go on holiday to Naantali in April. I was exciting how the city or better village looks like. When we arrived, we walked through the landscape and next to the Moomin world. It was a nice walk and I love the landscape with the lake and the small islands. I will go back to Naantali in spring and visiting also the old town. I found it a little bit sad that we didn’t go through the old town and watched the old buildings. That would be nice for another time. The most impressing thing on this walk where the silence in whole Naantali, it looked like a ghost town. Every store was closed or nearly everyone and no person walked around. We saw some people but not that much. It was cold, so it was nice when we went to the fireplace and get some hot pancakes, which were made on the fire with a quaint pan. It was just a little bit cold, so we went back to their university and get a nice lunch. But the most special thing on this day was the Prom of the second graders. I didn’t know how a prom is going on, because back home in Switzerland we are not used to do a Prom or only in some schools. I really liked the old traditional dances and the modern style at the end. I think day learnt this dance for a long time, because it looked so professional and perfect. I was fascinated about their clothes, the man looked old fashion with the long tail on their blazer and the weight gloves. The dresses of the girls were so shiny and glittery and their seemed to feel gorgeous in the big dress.
