Three days before on the 13th of March we were happy that we
have no more university we had the first day off (16th of March) and
it was amazing to do something with the friends. We planned on this day a
birthday celebration and it was a wonderful day until six o’clock in the
evening.
There was a speech from the Swiss government and from the Finnish government. The Swiss government said everyone who is now abroad must come back as fast as possible. And the Finnish government told that they will close the boarders as soon as possible.
It was a shock and we had to do a decision – after we called the embassy and we didn’t get an answer – we decide to go home as fast as possible. So we took a flight for the next day. We did one last kitchen party with hour best friends in the Student Village and everyone was crying because not only we had to go home a lot of other students as well. It was the saddest party we had, and I never forget the memories with all this amazing people.
In the night we had to pack all our stuff and clean the whole apartment after the goodbye party. I didn’t sleep any hour till the next morning.
