Castle of Turku

This was our first trip with a lot of different exchange students. We saw once the castle when we went with the bus to the harbor. It looked really special and I didn’t thought that it would be big or nice but I can recommend it. It was the biggest castle museum I ever saw in my life and as well a nice one. We got a lot of information and we had a lot of fun. There was a part in the museum where we could try on some different cloths from this time and also the metal clothes from the knights. It was so heavy that I couldn’t put it over my head. I can’t imagen how this was possible to wear in the time where the knights lived. In this castle they had a lot of rooms and if you do an event you can rent a room in the castle – maybe it is really expensive, but it looked amazing. The sad thing was that many rooms were empty.
